Subsea Valves

Used in sub-marine environments, subsea valves form an integral part of the subsea flow infrastructure. Installation depths can vary from shallow water to a depth of 30 metres and deep water to a depth of 4,000 metres. Given the remoteness of these valves accessibility becomes a major issue, as such these valves are generally critical in nature. Since subsea valves are more critical in nature, there is much more emphasis placed into the design to ensure the longevity and quality of such valves.

Subsea valves are generally exposed to extremely harsh conditions, whether this is extremely high pressures, low temperatures, chemical interactions or a combination of these. As such attention to detail is required and recommended, trusted suppliers of subsea valves are a necessity. Subsea valves range from manually operated valves through to fully automatic assemblies. Whilst some valves may be manual operated by divers (if the depth is not too great), the majority of manually operated subsea valves require a ROV to operate them. If this is the case special connections are required to ensure that the ROV connection is compatible to the valve.

PAC has forged strong alliances with industry leaders of subsea valving. Through its relationships with trusted and experienced subsea providers (ie. PetrolValves 40+years of subsea experience) PAC is able to provide high quality valves to you as the customer with a proven track record and a very high level of success and quality within subsea operations worldwide.
